Happy Monday! Here we have a poster for “The Incredible Hulk” movie. What? you say… that doesn’t look like the movie poster I know! Yes, I know, stop talking – let me finish. In Australia they released the original T.V. pilot in the theaters. This is the poster that marketed the movie. Look at that image! How great is that! There’s a really great older model that is exactly in the pose of that Hulk. I don’t have it… yet…
There is smaller pictures of Bill Bixby and a couple of Lou Ferigno as the Hulk. Just looking at the images makes me think of the scenes where Ferigno would throw someone and then they would cut to the guy flying through the air and landing in tires, trash, or into water. I remember a great episode that features a fashion designer and when there was a Hulk-out Lou Ferigno pushed a guy into… CLOTHES! And it knocked him out to boot! Man, I loved that show!

Awesome poster. I met Lou at horror convention, he was nice until I asked him to take a picture with me, he wanted 40 bucks for a snapshot. Adam West wanted 60 just for an auto graph. f*ck’that.

Wow – that seems like a lot. Especially for just an autograph.. I mean, then those people try to sell it for $200!

I asked Lou for a pic at a Wizard World function and he quickly, and rudely, declined. I lost a lot of respect for him after that epsiode.
20 minutes after that I met Kevn Smith and he happily put his arm around me for a great photo.
Ah well, Lou has to make a living….

While it’s true he has to make a living it seems that the fans are the reason he has a living at all. Charging them for photos and autographs have never sit right with me from any celebrity.

yeah it’s just …. WRONG!! But now he’ll make a living on HIS Hulk collection (He’s selling most of the stuff) which is like the 2nd or 3rd biggest collection in the world

Yeah – I heard that too…
Now maybe he won’t charge for a photo. The funny thing is that people will probably pay outrageous amounts to own HIS items – but that’s just silly.
Of course, now is a terrible time to be selling anything! You can get some great deals on ebay.

Is it just me, or does the Hulk in the poster look a lot like Sylar from Heroes? (Granted, a green, Hulked out Sylar, but Sylar nonetheless…)

He’s really selling his own collection? What’s is his eBay handle? I wonder if he owns anything really unique?
