I’m thinking about Friday’s post and can’t decide what to show you next – I have plenty of new art to show you guys including a commission and some sketches as well as published pages – but I also have another statue to show… so I throw the question to you. What would you rather see me post on Friday? More art – or a statue? You’ll eventually see both but what would you like to see first?
I am so bummed. I should have shown this to you on Halloween night – but I forgot. Instead I bring this to you now… when it’s almost Thanksgiving. I like the paint job done on this Halloween Bucket. Much more colorful than the vintage one. I looked for this EVERYWHERE but no one had it. Every store I looked in had Batman, Spiderman (in both red and black costumes), even bleeping High School Musical buckets – but no Hulk. Luckily I am pretty thorough and searched every store almost everyday and found one two days before Halloween at Toys R Us. There it was – a lone Hulk bucket – all by its little lonesome. I was psyched!
Now Turn to the Right - wait, Your Right!
The 1978 bucket was bigger. As you can figure out – bigger bucket, more candy – but I like the look on the new bucket. The ’78 bucket has a stoic look on it’s face – like he’s waiting for the bus – or reading on the crapper. The new bucket looks angry! Bearing his teeth! Ready to rumble! Wait – not ready to rumble – I think that’s owned by Michael Buffer and I don’t want to pay for using that – so the Hulk is… ready to… grapple!
