Sleeping with the Enemy: A Year Worth of Cringe-Worthy Hulk Moments – Week 23

Let’s have a little fun and discuss some of the more graphic, violent, sad, or just plain awkward moments that have plastered the Hulk history.  Be it a passing meeting between spouses of a gruesome scene that nobody saw coming – this year I’ll have you squirming in your seat!

Brian Banner was the true monster.  He might not have shown it on the outside, like a certain Green Giant, but he was the man with the real destructive quality.  An evil man who made young Bruce and his mother live in fear.  When she had the courage to leave her he did the unthinkable.  The horrific.  He took a boy’s mother away and young Bruce cemented the technique that would spawn a gamma-exposed nightmare for 50 years and running.  He buried those emotions deep.

Hulk Appearances – Volume 6: Warheads #9

I’ve read this issue and I have to tell you… I still don’t know what it’s about.  I have no idea what happened or even a remote idea of the story being told.  I do know one thing – the Hulk is not the Hulk – it’s a Hulk Robot.  That’s obvious when 90’s ponytail future guy kicks his head off.  I think the people in the issue are trying to kill Wolverine?  Or maybe not?  I have no idea.

It’s not like they tried to keep the Hulk being a robot a secret though – as you can see on the cover – the blue circles show the hints that the Hulk on the inside pages are not, in fact, the actual Hulk.  Either way – you can skip this issue.  It’s pretty much scratchy nonsense.
