Hot Wheels Milano (2017)

There a few space ships that I would recognize by  sight alone.  Starlord’s ship is easily on that list!  I love the look of the ship!  They released a few of these now – for the first movie and then here – and another on a Guardians of the Galaxy themed card.

I was even pleasantly surprised to find the little attachment added that allows you to display the space craft the way it should be!  I truly wish there was a bigger version of this piece  – like the ones they make for the Star Wars figures.

Hot Wheels Avengers: Infinity War Hulk Car (2018)

IMG_1245 (2)

It’s shocking to see that things are still being released from Thor: Ragnarok let alone the new Avengers movie.  This Hot Wheels car was released with a whole bunch of other personalized superhero cars.  None of them actually carry the Avengers title – which makes me think Hot Wheels didn’t get the rights to it.  The characters are classic Avengers with some great artwork from over the years.

Hot Wheels Hulk (2017)

I like the cars that offer an actual image of the character – even something from the comics – but really, anything would do!  I don’t exactly mind these cars because the color scheme still screams the Hulk but really, it also could be the color scheme of a number of characters including the Green Goblin, Donatello from TMNT, etc… That’s why I prefer to have a cool picture portrayed on the car itself.  Either way, thank you to my wife for picking this little guy up for me at Target the other day!

Hot Wheels Gladiator Hulk (2017)

I love these themed cars!  I was not aware of this until I saw another Hulk fan post this on Facebook – by the way, if you are on FB then you should like my page, I post things on there way faster than on here.  The poster who made me aware of this gem also mentioned that he was not willing to pay scalper prices.  I understood what he meant when I looked on the bay for this big guy and sure enough it’s been posted for double it’s going retail rate.

I was able to mosey on into a Target and found two sitting on the pegs.  I consider myself lucky because I probably would have caved and paid the higher price for it.  I’m not obsessed with making sure I obtain every Hulk car – but this one is unique enough that I would’ve been remiss to not get this big guy.

Hot Wheels She Hulk Van (2017)

IMG_0659 (2)

Always happy to see Retro images being used on today’s merchandise!  The image on the package comes from the cover to Savage She-Hulk #1! The image on the van is different of course and, as a total guess, I’d have to say it’s from an interior page – but where exactly will have to stay a mystery for now because I’m not scouring my books for one image!  Maybe someone out there knows – let me know in the comments!

Hot Wheels Hulk Smash Spin Out – And a New Car! (2014)

memories1 103

When it comes to toy Hulk cars you have your pick of what you want – there is quite a few choices.  Do you want a Hulk image printed on your Hulk car?  It’s out there.  You want the car to be formed into the shape of the Hulk?  It’s out there too.  A few different companies have thrown their hat in the ring trying to make a Hulk car.  Hot Wheels has now released a couple of items inspired with the Hulk.  First off, they are combining the might of all the Avengers with specialized tracks (although, I only care about the Hulk) and the Hulk has quite the addition.

I will start by mentioning that the Hulk figure that comes with this set is pretty awesome!  I mean, if it had feet then it would be perfect – but it doesn’t – it’s attached to the cityscape with the Hulk towering over the buildings by an obscene amount.  They also provide a car launcher and an Abomination car.  I can’t really tell why it’s called the Abomination car – not only does it not have the Abomination on it – but it’s not even colored in the vain of the Abomination.

But the best part of the set is the Hulk himself!  Not only does it look bad ass – but it spins with whatever ferocity you can muster – and it rejects the Abomination car as it tries to jump past the Hulk’s angry fists.  It’s a sight to behold and it truly is a really fun toy for kids of all ages.

But that’s not all!  Hot Wheels did release a Hulk car as well – and unlike the Abomination car you can tell the car is actually inspired by the Jade Giant!  It’s a nice Olive green color with a rear wheel well and bumper colored classic purple.  The wheels are also colored green and purple too.  It has a copyright of 2013 – but I haven’t seen it on the pegs until now.

I feel like I am pretty decent at being able to distinguish artist’s style but for the life of me I can’t seem to recognize the who drew that awesome Hulk on the card.  If anyone knows leave a comment below so the mystery can finally be solved!  Over all, thanks to Hot Wheels for releasing a new set of Hulky wheeled fun!

Scene Machine (1978)

 scene machine

This may look like an ordinary van – but behold!  If you peer into the back of the van and hold it up to the light you will see a furious Hulk inside ripping out the steering wheel and slamming his fist against the door.

By the way, I’m not making any of that up.

These scene machines were made in the late 70’s by Hot Wheels and featured a small animated scene inside of the truck that you can only see by putting this van up to your eye and aiming it at the light.
