This little Hulk, and a few others out there that are like it, is a nice representation of the early savage Hulk. There are some stats on the back including the real name as Robert Bruce Banner, 6 Foot 6 Inches and 1,040 lbs. It also says his power is Super Human Strength. Not exactly wowing facts – but I do like the figure. There are a few others that are in some other poses – I think these were given with a book sold at Borders – but I am unsure.

Marvel Tales Comics (1960’s)
These are like the first trade paperbacks. Marvel reprinted their comic stories into one comic and called them Marvel Tales. These aren’t that great of copies but I don’t mind. In fact, I like having more used copies because I am not as bothered taking them out of the bags and flipping through them. The first one recounts all of the origin stories of the major heroes. The other has Hulk vs. the Ring Master from Hulk #3.
Shield Smash Hulk (2008)
While I am awaiting the release of the final figure from series 2 I do have one last Hulk figure to show you – and if you haven’t seen the Hulk movie yet, you should probably stop reading HERE.
I absolutely love when they base figures from actual moments from the movie. the Gamma Glow Hulk and Power Glow Hulk were cool – and the Mega Clap Hulk was fine as well (even though the mega clap only happened ONCE in the movie) this is great because they actually had an entire scene with the Hulk using these two little shields. To boot it was one of the better action moments in the movie.
Authentics Incredible Hulk #181 (2008)
While this is an interesting series, the real problem I have is when they don’t use the original art for these items. The original art is so much better, In my opinion (which is what this blog is all about – so it fits), not to mention that they used the original art for the rest of this series’ cars. Now, if you look, you will also see – they have messed up! Severely! Up in the corner it says “First appearance of Hulk” Wait, Hulk’s first appearance in a comic called Incredible Hulk wasn’t until #181? Who appeared in the first 180 comics then? A clone? Ugh… let’s not go down that road.
Amazing that this big of a mess up got through… and if you’re unsure – it’s supposed to say First Appearence of Wolverine! And if you needed me to tell you that then you have no business being on my blog!
Toys R Us Display (2008)
I’m so busy lately, I would’ve hardly had time to post this – but I wanted to take a moment because after I got this hom I was so excited – I must have called every person I know! The best part is that this huge Hulk fit into my Scion XB! It wasn’t easy – and it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to angle it just right to put it in there, but I did it! This awesome display is about 6 feet tall and I also have the Incredible Hulk sign. Man, I’m so excited to have this! Now I just have to re-arrange the entire Hulk room to fit it in!
Incredible Collection!
Large Regener8’rs 2 (2008)
I like this Regener8’rs much better than the last because this one has a huge Hulk head on the top! This is actually an exact copy of the smaller Regener8’rs I posted before. I still think it’s a great idea to have a toy morph into a bunch of different toys – because as my friend Bill has said – when you’re with Transformers, you’re never alone! It’s too bad though that with these toys they don’t have the character that’s on the truck on the package. What’s up with having Spiderman’s huge mug on the front? It almost makes me not want to buy it!
Hulk Pillow (2008)
WOW!
Looks like Lou Ferigno is selling off his Hulk collection. One of the largest Hulk collections in the world is boxed up in his home and he feels it’s the right time to break it out and sell it. Will it go for more than it’s worth because it once belonged to Lou? I say yes. People will pay ridiculous prices for a Hulk item that once belonged to the original televised Hulk! Can’t wait to see the items that will come out though! Click on the image for more info…
Ummm… Part 18

Hulk Buster Soldiers (2008)
One of these guys looks like Roth, obviously, but the other was one of the random soldiers that died in the movie – like the soldiers in the soda factory, of the soldiers at the field at the University or even the soldiers that went down with the helicopter at the end. They should do a variant of these guys with blood streaming from their noses, ears, and eyes. I’d buy it…
Well, I’d buy anything – so I guess that goes without saying…
Hulk vs. The Marvel Universe (2008)
This great compilation has a bunch of random stories where the Hulk faces off against some of the Marvel heroes. Some of the better ones are the Daredevil #163 where Ol’ Horn head gets the ever loving stuffing beatout of him. Also, there is the Fin Fang Foom 1-Shot, which I loved, and the TTA #’s 92 and 93 where he squares off against the Silver Surfer. Not so much fights him – but Surfer kind of puts up with Hulk’s tantrums. Also, FF #25 and 26 where the Hulk and Thing get into a great brawl. But one of my favorites of this whole collection is Journey Into Mystery with Thor #112 that tells the untold storyt of Thor against Hulk when Thor asked Odin to give him his power without his famed hammer. The other stories here is Incredibel Hulk #340 vs. Wolverine. A mediocre fight that shouldn’t have made the cut – they didn’t even get to finish the fight! Right before it got good Quatermain interjected and stopped it. Lastly, Peter Parker: Spiderman #14, when Mary Jane was thought to be dead and Spiderman was trying to take on the Hulk for crashing an airplane – that wasn’t his fault – maybe the same plane from #340 – but I am not sure. Still, a fun collection worth picking up. B+
Raging Thunder 1-Shot (2008)
So, The Thing fought this chick way back when called Thundra. She is a leader of a tribe full of women who dominate her universe. From time to time Thundra will go into another universe to fight the most powerful man in that world. So, of course, this time she picks the Hulk. She battles these other strong men to show her “dominance” to her people. When she begins to fight the Hulk though, she realizes just how storng and powerful the Hulk is… and she tries still to defeat him, but Hulk never goes down, and somewhere within the fighting Thundra starts to admire the Hulk. She cuts the transmission to her her own world and then attacks the Hulk – but in a different way – she starts making out with him.
I’m not sure if this 1-shot was brought out because of Father’s Day or not – but it ends with a female warrior that looks like Thundra destroying some men. Then, when they show her fully, you see she has the Hulk’s greenish hue. So now we have Hulk’s son Skaar on Sakkar and we have the Hulk’s daughter in another universe. Man, Hulk’s a little slut, huh? B-
