“Power of Doctor Banner” Super 8 Film (1976)

This is the coolest thing to find!  It’s an 8mm, black and white, 11-minute, silent film starring the Hulk in a cartoon called Power of Doctor Banner.  It’s from 1976, the same year I was born, and released by Ken Films, once located on Main St. of Fort Lee, New Jersey.  My plan is toContinue reading ““Power of Doctor Banner” Super 8 Film (1976)”

Mini Bowen Statue (Grey Version)(2002)

I’ve wanted this version for so long!  Now I finally got it to go with it’s counterpart.  The sculpt really fits nicely with either colored Hulk (maybe now they will release a new Red version as well).  Some statues only look appropriate for one kind of Hulk (see Hard Hero & the new Bowen) – butContinue reading “Mini Bowen Statue (Grey Version)(2002)”

It’s starting already…

Since I was working in Walpole today I stopped by New England Comics in Norwood again today to pick up a few more back issues.  To my utter disappointment, I picked up exactly 4 because that’s all they had that I needed.  The comic shops around me are starting to run out of backContinue reading “It’s starting already…”

Dynamic Forces Gray Hulk Bust (2003)

This leaning Hulk bust came out in 2003.  His pecs seem to be shrinking.  The sculpt is a unique look at the Hulk – can’t say it’s the best – but it isn’t terrible.  Why is his shirt poking up like that though?  The bust is limited to just 1,963 (again, he came outContinue reading “Dynamic Forces Gray Hulk Bust (2003)”

Hard Hero Hulk Statue (Grey Version)(2007)

This statue is limited to just 200.  This one is #37.  As I said when I posted the green version of this statue, the Grey Hulk just doesn’t fit with this sculpt.  Maybe that’s why they only made 200.  That means that it is one of the rarest Hulk statues out there.  Still, theContinue reading “Hard Hero Hulk Statue (Grey Version)(2007)”

New England Comics – 1/10/08

New England Comics in Quincy was not so Hulk-tastic.  The only back issue they had for me was # 109 (Trimpe).  But some good news… they did have a few Tales to Astonish that I needed.  As many of you know, Hulk’s legacy continued in TTA from issue #59 – #101 until it was re-namedContinue reading “New England Comics – 1/10/08”

My back issue quest continues…

Trying to own every Incredible Hulk issue is not an easy task.  Luckily, I am still not close to owning them all which makes back issues I need fairly easy to find.  I try my best to pick up key issues when I find a great deal here and there – but a lot of theContinue reading “My back issue quest continues…”
